National Pageant Rules
Little Miss & Mister National USA Rules
First and most important rule is that there is NO tolerance for drama, bullying, or any un-sportsmanship behavior. Each contestant must sign a sportsman ship waiver at registration and will be banned from system for any un-sportsman like conduct. We are a pageant that values sisterhood and building each other up, not tearing down.
We take reining duties very seriously. You are expected to be part of a court. If you plan not to attend next year to crown your successor, please chose another system.
RULES FOR NATURAL APPLIES TO BEAUTY ONLY
NO FAKE EYELASHES, TANNING, FLIPPERS, OR FAKE HAIR
0-4 Light make up. Clear mascara, light blush, lip gloss (light pink or clear colored gloss allowed), light pink and white eye shadows allowed. Please keep very light and age appropriate. No rhinestones of any kind on the child’s dress. White socks with single ruffle, white closed toed shoes and age appropriate dresses required for beauty.
5-9 Light make up. Clear mascara, light blush, lip gloss (light colored glosses allowed), light colored eye shadows. Please keep age appropriate. No rhinestones are allowed on the beauty dress. Same shoes as 0-4 unless silver single strapped pump or clear pageant shoe looks more appropriate with dress.
10+ Moderate make up allowed. Mascara, blush, lip liner, lip stick, eyeliner, eye shadows allowed. Age appropriate still applies. Ball gowns, high low dresses, store bought rhinestones appropriate. If the stone came on the dress in the store it is OK. Clear pageant heels or pumps, silver single strapped pump or dress appropriate heels are acceptable.
While the natural girls are allowed to wear makeup due to our stage lights, it is not required or deducted off for no makeup. We want our girls to look as natural as possible. If you are out with your daughter after a pageant and getting negative feedback from the amount of make up your child has on, this is not age appropriate makeup.

This is your child’s opportunity to play dress up and be whatever her/his imagination wants them to be. This is a creative and expressive event and make up, hair pieces, glitter, stones are all accepted like they are in glitz.
